Den eigenen Bildschirm aufnehmen

Videos can be produced relatively easily on your own computer or smartphone by recording or filming your own screen. These recordings are also called screencasts; if you only record one image, this is called a screenshot. Content is played back on the computer screen and described or accompanied by audio commentary. Screencasts are particularly suitable for making software explanation videos or showing technical processes, but also for simpler and more advanced animations.
To record such a video, you primarily need a computer or smartphone, depending on the operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iOS) different recording options are recommended (this is a selection of free software):
- Open Broadcaster (Linux, Windows, Mac)
- Quick Time Player (Mac)
- Screen Recorder from the Playstore (Android)
- Integrated screen recorder (iOS)
To record presentations or simple animations, you can create them in presentation software or in a drawing program (PowerPoint, Inkscape, Gimp, Paint) and then play and record this presentation in presentation mode. For more information, see also Recording made easy

Screen recorder

As there are very different system and hardware requirements, we recommend looking for a suitable screen recorder in the Playstore itself.
Pay attention to the permissions that the apps require. If possible, the apps should only access the camera and the internal memory. However, some apps go beyond this, which can be problematic.
