Since the release of ILIAS Version 5.3, it is possible to create so-called Column Layouts. Column Layouts are superior because content sizes are automatically optimized for various screen sizes. This function enables, for example, displaying four images side by side on a widescreen and displaying them below each other on a smartphone screen. Please keep in mind that the usual guidelines for the responsive design still apply, i.e. images should only be inserted in the size in which they should be displayed. Therefore, it is not necessary anymore to use an Advanced Table as a layout tool and the contents are now optimized for mobile displays.
