Videoproduction for students
Editing films with a video editor
You can edit your recorded movie scenes with the help of a video editor. You can then export this video project as a finished movie.
Post-processing is particularly suitable for the following scenarios:
- You would like to merge individual video scenes into a complete video.
- You would like to add a voice-over to your video track.
- You would like to add background music. You can find an overview of free media portals here.
- You would like to correct your video recording and cut out any mistakes or unsuccessful scenes.
The number of existing video editing programs is large. They also differ in terms of their performance and licenses. As an open source program that allows you to work on different operating systems, we recommend OpenShot. This program can be used to carry out the above scenarios as well as other video projects.
OpenShot
You can download OpenShot from the manufacturer's website. It is available for Windows, MacOS and Linux.
