Videoproduction for students

Legetechnik

In a video designed using the layering technique, previously prepared images are moved to match a voiceover on a surface that is filmed from above. This method offers a great deal of creative freedom, but has limitations. For example, backgrounds or entire scenes are rarely used, giving it more the style of a typical 2D explainer video. Additional explanations are added via voiceover, which can be prepared and then added to the pictures or spoken live while the pictures are being added.

The laying technique is the less complex method of creating "animations". It is possible to produce a video without much technical know-how. If you want to have the freedom of animations without a lot of technical effort, the laying technique is ideal.

The quality of the voiceover is very important. If the people watching cannot see anyone, the focus on the voiceover increases. Any compromises in the sound are less forgiven than with video. You should also be careful not to cover any important things with your hands.
