Reflecting on learning
Every form of learning achievement should be accompanied by feedback. Every piece of feedback should also result in a follow-up task. Feedback on a learning product without, for example, revising the product leads to significantly less learning success than using the feedback for the further learning process.

The exercise as a tool for feedback
If you want to make your feedback very detailed and clearly structured, then the exercise is the tool of choice. With this tool, you can design the feedback process from start to finish and have all the information about the feedback process bundled in one object.
In addition to the basic management of assignments, the Exercise object is the most important tool for organizing feedback:
- Writing feedback as text, email, or file
- Giving grades for assignments
- Organizing peer feedback with and without versatile criteria lists
Evaluating peer feedback by exporting the feedback as an Excel file - Erfahren Sie in diesem Handout sehr detailliert, welche Möglichkeiten Ihnen das Objekt Übung bietet.

Page rating in the wiki and in the learning module
With the wiki, individual pages can be evaluated according to specific criteria. These criteria can be used by both teachers and peers. In addition, the comment function allows users to provide freely formulated feedback.
The wiki is particularly suitable, for example, when feedback is more freely structured, i.e., each person can choose which page they want to evaluate, or when feedback is to be assigned not only by numbers but also by the teacher. The feedback in the wiki is also always visible and therefore public. This makes the wiki particularly suitable for training netiquette when giving feedback.
In the learning module, individual pages can also be rated and commented on, but no criteria for this can be created in the learning module.

Free feedback on objects with the rating and comment function
In addition to structured feedback, low-threshold feedback can be provided using the rating function for objects at the course or group level. Activating this function allows all course or group members to rate all objects set after activation using a simple 5-star system.
Activating the comment function allows low-threshold feedback to be made somewhat more detailed.
Since this feature only allows for very general feedback, it should primarily be used to obtain feedback on specific questions, such as whether a particular material was found helpful or not.
