A well-designed course interface can be used to increase transparency and student engagement. Especially in classes which are held in a mere asynchronous manner, the design of the online course is highly important.
Creating a white background
To create a white background, a section in ILIAS 5.4 Standard Layout with “Background” style class must be created and then all contents must be dragged and dropped in the Section.
Determining your own course structure using Resource Lists
Resource Lists are available for use in course and group interfaces.
Firstly, create an item group. The next step is to choose Resource List in the page editor, then Item Group (second entry) and then choose the desired Item Group from the drop-down menu.
