Das Update auf ILIAS 10 ist abgeschlossen, im Hintergrund laufen noch Migrationen von Medienobjekten und Content Styles, weshalb es bis voraussichtlich nächsten Freitag zu langsameren Ladezeiten und nicht angezeigten Übungsabgaben kommen kann. Neuerungen im Überblick

Flashcard Training is a study tool for content memorization. By "migrating" memorized terms through five compartments, the long term memory is stimulated and study effectiveness increased. Flashcard Training is a wide-spread study tool which can be used on portable devices. By using this centralized system, teachers can ensure the quality of Flashcards for all students.

Tutorials

Since the videos are in German, please follow the English descriptions below.

  1. To create a Flashcard Training click on “add new item“ . Choose "Flashcards Training".
  2. Name the Flashcard Training under "Title".
  3. Confirm your input by clicking on "Add Flashcards Training".
  4. A Flashcards Training has to be linked to a Glossary. To make this connection, first choose the Glossary for which you are creating a Training under "Glossary Selection"
  5. Tick the box next to "Online" to publish your Flashcards.
  6. Select from "Glossary training mode" the way in which the cards will be shown.
  7. Confirm by clicking „Save“.
  1. By clicking on "Fill Startbox" the first 20 Cards can be prepared for training. By clicking "Start training” you can start studying.
  2. Terms are now displayed in a predetermined pattern.
  3. By clicking on "Definition" you can check whether you correctly memorized a term.
  4. By clicking "Known" the card is moved to the next compartment.
  5. By clicking "Difficult" the card remains in the compartment it is in.
  6. By clicking "Not Known" the card is sent back to the first compartment.
  7. Whenever cards have left the first compartment, it can be refilled by clicking "Startfach wieder nachfüllen" (refill first compartment).
  1. When you have made changes to the Glossary, you can update the Flashcards from the Settings page of the Flashcard Training.
  2. Change tab to „Properties“ and click the button "Update Cards from Glossary”.
