For the new Arthurian bibliography, we need your help. We search for a specific identification number of you: All those who have published in recent decades are automatically assigned such identification numbers, for example, by their national library. The problem is when a name belongs to several people (Thomas Müller, John Smith). That's why we need you.

Please search for your name in the VIAF portal and enter the ID you will find there here. Here is a more detailed guide:

  1. Go to the following page: https://viaf.org/
  2. Limit your search for "Personal Names" and enter your name in the search field (see screenshots below)
  3. Look for the result until you find yourself
  4. Open your record and write down the VIAF ID
  5. On this page here: Press "Umfrage starten / Start survey". Enter your name and ID in the form.

Für die neue Artusdatenbank brauchen wir Ihre Mithilfe. Gesuch wird nach einer bestimmten Identifikationsnummer. Alle, die in den letzten Jahrzehnten publiziert haben, bekommen solche Identifikationsnummern z.B. von ihrer nationalen Bibliothek automatisch zugewiesen. Das Problem dabei ist, wenn ein Namen mehreren Personen gehört (Thomas Müller, John Smith). Deshalb brauchen wir Sie.

Bitte suchen Sie im Portal VIAF nach Ihrem Namen und tragen Sie die ID, die Sie dort finden hier ein. Hier eine genauere Anleitung:

  1. Rufen Sie die folgende Seite auf: https://viaf.org/
  2. Schränken Sie auf die Suche nach "Personal Names" ein und tragen Sie Ihren Namen ins Suchfeld ein (siehe Bilder unten)
  3. Suchen Sie im Ergebnis, bis Sie sich selber gefunden haben
  4. Rufen Sie Ihren Datensatz auf und notieren Sie sich die VIAF ID
  5. Auf dieser Seite hier: Drücken Sie auf "Umfrage beginnen". Tragen Sie Ihren Namen und Ihre ID im Formular ein.
